State Deposits Decline
State deposits with the Reserve Bank fell £4.4m to £12.8m in the week ended May 17. Borrowing rose slightly to £o.2m. ' Trading bank deposits were virtually unchanged and borrowing by the trading banks fell £3.om to £12.2m.
