Winding-Up IOpposed MELBOURNE, May 19. The Melbourne "Sun” said today that investors and creditors of H. and S. Credits, Ltd., had been asked by the company's directors to oppose the petition of Standard Insurance Company, Ltd., that the company be wound up. “At a meeting of all creditors in Sydney on May 24, they will be asked to pass a resolution to this effect and to engage counsel to represent them in matters before the Court, the “Sun” said.
“Best Interests of All” The Melbourne "Age” said that the directors believed that it was in the best interests of all investors, creditors and shareholders to oppose the petition and enable the company to carry on its business and continue the various current projects. "Standard Insurance named three companies which, it claimed, owed it money,” the “Age” continued. “H. and S. Credits. Ltd., are said to owe £119,065, H. and S. (Sydney ), Pty., Ltd., £6Bl, and International Shipping and Exnort Agency Pty., Ltd., £926.359.”
