N.A.C. “CAREERS EVENING”
Demonstrations And Displays
More than 100 teachers, careers advisers, and vocational guidance officers have accepted an invitation to attend a “careers evening” to be held by the National Airways Corporation at the Christchurch airport on May 24. The branch manager of the corporation (Mr J. E. Davies) said that other careers evenings had been held by the N.A.C., but this was the first time that persons associated with advising children on the careers they could follow had been approached. To acquaint those attending the evening with the standard of academic and technical training needed for a career in aviation, demonstrations, displays and guided tours have been arranged.
