These are the highest prices reached in Aew Zealand this year by Colonial Sugar shares, which last year rose to a peak of £77. Ampol shares fell 6d <m the announcement of the terms of the forthcoming premium issue. .. l n * urance shares were mainly firmer, but National Insurance fell 3d. frozen meat shares were weak. The market was unsteady yesterday. Sixteen rises and 12 falls were recorded by New Zealand issues, while overseas shares showed six gains and six losses.
