CRICKET Australians Gain Second Win Of Tour
(ti.Z.P.A .-Reuter—Copyright)
LONDON, May 17. The Australians gained their second win of the tour when they beat Surrey by 10 wickets at the Oval yesterday.
Surrey added only another seven runs to its overnight total of 207. C. McDonald and W. Lawry got the runs and so the Australian team revenged its defeat by Surrey on the last tour when the county won by 10 wickets.
In 1956 Surrey was the first county for 44 years to beat an Australian team. D. Fletcher did not bat because of a broken finger, and R. May, as expected, did not resume his innings.
