New Zealand Fisheries. Ltd, Wellington, earned a net nrofit of £797 in the year to March 31, compared with the previous year’s loss of £8357. Profit was reached after providing £2441 for deprecia. tion against £3669 last year. After deducting the latest year’s profit the debit balance has been reduced to £10.608 Dividend is again passed.

The balance sheet shows that sundry creditors are down from £2727 to £lBB6. while capital reserve from property realisation is steady at £29,727.

Bank credit account has. been reduced from £6892 to £1621 and sundry debtors are £277 lower at £4318. Fixed assets have been reduced from £63,119 to £46,199.

Investments have been increased by £24.000 — brought about by £4OOO on deposit and £20.000 in unsecured debentures.
