SCHOOL CADET OFFICERS

Promotion Courses Being Held

Four hundred and fifteen school cadet officers are attending courses for promotion and confirmation of commissions during the May school holidays. Four courses are bemg conducted in each of the three military districts. These are for confirmation of commission, promotion from lieutenant to captain and from captain to major and a senior officers’ refresher course. Fifteen senior officers are undergoing their appropriate courses in each military district, an average of 47 officers are undergoing confirmation of commission courses in each district, and promotion courses have drawn 100 entries from the Northern Military District and 65 in the Central and Southern Military districts.
