s Party Of Crippled Children | When two bus loads of d crippled children arrived at o the Regent Theatre yesterday morning, as the guests of T.EA.L. and the theatre d management, they were met a by the Mayor (Mr G. Mane ning). Others there to greet them were Professor H. E i- Field, president of the Canr terbury and West Coast 1 branch of the New Zealand '- Crippled Children Society; Mr F. G. Hill, district manager of T.E.A.L.; and Mr J. . Hart, manager of the theatre, n Each of the 102 children e received sweets from TJE.AJj. d before boarding the buses, y and the company also gave - a gift to each child to take home after the screening of r the film “The Sundowners." - Ice-cream was provided by - the Perfection Ice Cream f Company, Ltd.
