NEW WING FOR ST HELENS HOSPITAL.—A drawing of the projected four-storeyed wing, supplied by the Government Architect's Office. The extensions, which will cost about £286,000, will have a floor area of nearly 40,000 sq. ft., and will take two years and a half to build. Accommodation will be increased from 50 to about 110 beds. The wing will include theatres and labour rooms.
