COOPER’S FUNERAL
Huge Crowd Expected
(N2.P.A -Reuter—Copyright) HOLLYWOOD. May 16. A force of about 100 police will be on hand to control the huge crowds expected af Gary Cooper’s funeral in Hollywood today. The actor's family is hoping that he can be buried with dignity. A private rosary for the actor was said last night The Solemn Requiem Mass to be sung for him at the Church of the Good Shepherd tcJay also will be private. Although only close friends and relatives will be invited to attend the service. Mi Cooper was the friend of so many people in the film capital that the 500 seats will be unable to accommodate them all. The actor’s widow has appealed to the public to use restraint if they come to watch the funeral service, or line the six mile route from the church to the cemetery.
