Laver In Final

Laver, of Australia, won his way into the men's singles final of the Italian international championship today with a 6-2. 4-6. 6-4. 6-1 win over Manuel Santana (Spain). Laver, seeded No. 2. will meet Italy’s Nicola Pietrangeli in the final tomorrow. The Australians Lesley Turner and F. StolJe beat Mary Reitano 'Australia) and M. Sangster .(Britain). 3-6. 6- 6-4 in the mixed doubles quarter-finals. , Another Australian pair. Jan Lehane and R. Hewitt, beat Yola Ramirez (Mexico) and R Dell (United States). 7- 3-6. 6-3. The winning pair will be challenged by the No. i seed pair Darlene Hard (United States) and Laver in the mixed doubles semi-finals. Misses Turner and Lehane won the women’s doubles title beating Margaret Smith and Mrs Mary Reitano in an all-Australian final. 2-6, 6-1. 6-1
