Ban Imposed On Rival

(N.Z Press Association) PALMERSTON N„ Mav 15. The New Zealand Rollerskating Association is not recognised as an amateur organisation by the Amateur Roller-skating Association of New Zealand or by the Federation Internationale de Roller-skating, with which the latter New Zealand body is affiliated. Its members are accordingly banned from competing in any event held by the Amateur Roller-skating Association or the international federation, it was said in a resolution carried at a special general meeting of the Amateur Roller-skating Association in Palmerston North on Saturday. The meeting was held to

confirm a ruling to this effect given by the Federation Internationale de Rollerskating, which is the authority appointed by the Olympic committee to control amateur roller - skating throughout the world. Steps are being taken to notify all national amateur sports bodies in New Zealand of the resolution.
