Second Earl For Australia
“The Press" Special Service MATAMATA. May 15. The Matamata jockey, F. E. Osborne, will leave for Australia on May 26 with Second Earl. Osborne previously. looked after the Tembu galloper for his trainer, W. Clifton, when Second Earl travelled to Australia last year. Osborne trains the three-year-old Third Earl for Clifton. but the horse has yet to show comparable brilliance.
