STRANDED FOR THREE DAYS IN THE WAIMAKARIRI.—The 150-ton motor-vessel Picton at low tide yesterday. She went aground last Friday just inside the mouth of the river. Attempts to refloat her have failed, but she is in no danger. The Picton regularly trades between Kaiapoi and Wellington.
