Overdrafts Down. Trading bank advances and discounts fell from £236m to £ 228.7 m in the week ended April 26. according to preliminary figures from the Reserve Bank. The latest figure compares with £ 233.3 m a month earlier, and £ 177.1 m a year earlier.
