NEW PLYMOUTH, May 15. A 28-year-old Maori truck driver was killed instantly on the Takaanu-Taupo highway when the articulated vehicle he was driving left the road at Bulli Point, near Motutere Bay, about 10 o’clock this morning. He was
Hikorangi Robert Moke, aged 28, of Rangiita. He was married with two children.
Travelling towards Taupo he was taking a full load of sand and shingle to Wairakei when the truck left the road on the pcint and went over the left-hand bank, overturning a number of times. He was pinned in the crushed cab of the vehicle.
