Sir, —In this morning’s issue of “The Press’’ the Apple and Pear Board advertises what you can do with apples and a little imagination: one chicken, 12s. 21b
jam, 16s; tiny mushrooms, ss: wine, butter and flour; total cost, 36s to use IJIb of apples. The prices I have added myself. What imagination! I wonder where it came from.—Yours, etc., BAKER. SOCKBURN. May 12, 1961.
