Park Board Plans To Be Determined
(N.Z Press Association) WANGANUI, May 14. The Tongariro National Park Board will try to pin down the village site issueafter about 10 years of plans and counter-plans. The latest proposal, to build a £120,000 ice skating rink and stadium, has lent urgency to the village planning. A scheme for low-cost tourist accommodation makes village planning even more vital.
