ASCOT’S ROYAL ENCLOSURE
Admission Down To Persons Under 25
The Queen's enthusiasm for horse racing is well known, and she has made ft known that she wishes more members of the younger set to take an interest in this “snort of kings,” says a London correspondent. The first step in this direction has been taken by cutting the price of Royal enclosure vouchers for Astot by £5 for men and women under 25. For those over 25 the price remains at £lO. Who will be able to take advantage of these cut prices? Only those who have sponsors from among those already privileged or who have a “nodding acquaintance” with Her Majesty’s representative, the Duke of Norfolk. Otherwise young patrons will have to watch the races from the other enclosures and pay the full entrance fee.
