New Competitor For Lamb
(N Z.P.A.-RetPer— Copyright) LONDON. May 11. More competition for New Zealanl lamb in catching the British housewife’s eye seems likely next week. After broilers—duck and duckling. The first “National Duck Week” is to open on May 15. It has been canvassed steadily among butchers and grocers and has been heralded by a luncheon in London.
A Lincolnshire producer said that more reasonable prices were helping the duck to gain on the comparatively tasteless broiler chicken.

Service Fee For Overdrafts
MELBOUKNE, May 11. The National Bank of Australasia is informing borrowers that a service fee will be charged on overdraft limits in addition to usual interest. This is a sequel to a service charge by the A.N.Z. Bank announced last month. It is understood some of the other banks are consider, mg imposing a fee.
