Stoppages In Argentine
(N Z P.A -Reuter—Copvrtohl) BUENOS AIRES. May 11. The Argentine Meat Workers' Union has decided to start progressive stoppage* in all industrial plant* next Thursday. The move follow* lockouts of workers at two meat plants earlier this week following strikes and demonstrations. The Wilson Meat Plant has suspended 2400 worker* and has refused to comply with a conciliatory summon* issue by the Labour Court At the Gualeguaychu plant, 1300 employees were locked out after they started "go-slow” tactic*. Report On Tour.—General Abdul Harris Naaution, the Indonesian Defence Miniiter and Army Chief of Staff, ha* reported to Parliament, in a closed session, on hi* recent tour of Australia and New Zealand.
