Ceremony In Britain

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. May 12. The National Airways Corporation today accepted its fourth Vickers Viscount airliner, the City of Dunedin, at a double ceremony at Vickers airfield at Wisley. Surrey. Soon after the New Zealand High Commissioner (Mr T. L. Macdonald) had accepted the airliner on behalf of N.A.C., Captain M. L. Pirie, in charge of the delivery flight, accepted from a representative of the City of Edinburgh a plaque bearing that city's coat-of-arms. City of Dunedin is expected to reach New Zealand on May 25. and go into service soon after. It is expected to serve its name city early next year when the new airport at Momona will be ready. Delivery of the fourth Viscount completes the N.A.C. order.
