Snow Prevents Landing

An International Red Cross plane, sent to pick up Sir Edmund Hillary from an airstrip at Mingbo. near Mount Everest, was unable to land yesterday because of snow and a strong wind, the British United Press reported Sir Edmund Hillary suffered a mild stroke over the week-end when he was attempting to climb Mount Makalu.
