"NO MONEY, NO LETTERHEAD”
“How long has this council been in existence?” asked Mr J. W. Francis at a meeting of the Christchurch Junior Council on Wednesday evening. "Have we asked the senior council for some money? We have been going eight months and when are we going to get some and get down to business?" Mr Francis had moved that a junior council letterhead be printed immediately. Mr R. K. Godfrey said the council had no money so it could not afford a letterhead.
Mr G. H. Reddell said he Intended to suggest an alteration in the name of the junior council at the next meeting. The motion about a letterhead was lost, Mr Francis being the Only person voting for it.
