MEETING AT BLENHEIM

No Totalisator Next Week

The Waterlea Trotting Club has received 49 entries for five races to be run at a non-tota-lisator meeting at Blenheim tomorrow week. The club held two twilight meetings In the summer and they proved most popular. The programme for next week includes a qualifying trial, which should enable some local horses to qualify to start at the Nelson Trotting Club’s meeting In June. There will be two races for pacers over nine furlongs and a- half, and two races for trotters over the same distance. An equalisator will operate on the five races and there will be two doubles.

Railway Road Services buses leave Tfriaru 9.15 a.m., Wafmate 10.15 aun., for Oamaru Trots. Saturday. Free hot waler. y —Advt.
