Sir.—Some Ministers are trying to save money, others are trying to waste it. Mr Shand is going to save money by closing the BlacKball mine. The Forest Department is pouring money into Balmoral forest for 50 rears with no show of making it pay. Mr Holyoake said the wolf was at the door and then he pours half a million down the dram at Mount Cook—Yours, etc.. FAR BACK DAN. May 11, 1961.
