ANNUAL SCHOOL FOR CLERGY

Anglicans To Meet In City

The annual school for Church of England clergymen will be held this year from May 15 to 18 at Christchurch College and will be opened by the Bishop of

Christchurch (the Rt Rev. A. K. Warren).

The proposed programme will include two lectures on “Our Approach to Young People” by Mr A. B. Allen, senior psychologist of the Department of Education, and Mr M. Lyons, district child welfare officer for Christchurch.

Two discussions by young representatives of the clergy and church laymen will be chaired by the Dean of Christchurch (the Very Rev. Martin Sullivan) and a discussion on confirmation preparation will be led by the Ven. H. M. Cocks.

Classes in New Testament Bible Study will be taken by the Archdeacon of Akaroa and Ashburton (the Ven. M. Davies).
