YOUNG DANCERS FOR BALLET
Opportunity With N.Z. Company
Young Christchurch dancers may have the opportunity next month to dance with the New Zealand Ballet and the Hungarian guest artists. Nora Kovach and Istvan Rabovsky. A full performance of “Les Sylphide*” will be presented in Christchurch, and local dancers will be selected for the production. “Scheherazade" will also be presented The New Zealand Ballet is at present In the Wellington area, and has been joined by 11 young Wellington girls who are spending their May holidays dancing with the company, learning to care for their costumes and receiving their first taste of professional ballet
