Theft Of Cigarettes And Shotgun
A shotgun valued at £25 and cigarettes worth £2 10s were stolen from the premises of the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society at 291 Madras street on Monday night by thieves who entered through an unlocked door.
Cigarettes valued at £7 were stolen from the Antigua boat sheds on Monday night by thieves who broke a window.
Two Youths Arrested Two youths were arrested yesterday afternoon by Detective-Constables E. j Stackhouse and A. Peters, of the Christchurch C. 18.. and will appear in the Magistrate’s Court this morning on car-conversion charges.
