A shotgun valued at £25 and cigarettes worth £2 10s were stolen from the premises of the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society at 291 Madras street on Monday night by thieves who entered through an unlocked door.

Cigarettes valued at £7 were stolen from the Antigua boat sheds on Monday night by thieves who broke a window.
