CLYDE IND. VENTURE

Partnership In New Firm (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter — Copyright) SYDNEY, May 8. Clyde Industries, Ltd., has completed an agreement with Metal Industries, LtdUnited Kingdom, to form a jointly owned Australian company.

The new company, Crypton (Australasia) Pty., Ltdwill market, and, ultimately make, a new range of automotive electronic - testing equipment. The equipment will embody principles new to Australia and will enable time-saving in the servicing of motor-cars, the directors state.

It was developed by Crypton Equipment, Ltd.,’ United Kingdom, a subsidiary of Metal Industries, in co-oper-ation with the world’s leading automobile-makers.

Under the new agreement the research and development resources, as well as the technical knowledge, of Crypton Equipment, Ltd., will be available to the Australian company.
