Consul-General To Indonesia
(N.2 Press Association) AUCKLAND. May 10 Mr D M. Rae, of Auckland, the newly-appointed New Zealand Consul-General to Indonesia, left today on the first stage of his journey to Djakarta. Before leaving Mr Rae said it was important that the Australian and New Zealand people should not forget they lived in an Asian ocean. It was of the greatest importance that they should have a foreign policy giving full recognition to the importance of the Asian nations.
