Of Conditions
(N.Z Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 10. Exception to the Latter Day Saints touring basketball team having infringed a condition imposed by the New Zealand Men’s Basketball Association in granting permission for its present tour of New Zealand was expressed at a meeting last evening of the basketball association’s council. The council’s objection was to the programme prepared for the visiting team’s tour, and available for sale at each match. It includes a page outlining the aims of the Church of the Latter Day Saints, which the council considers a breach of the stipulation that there should be no church propaganda on the tour CoaneU “Flouted"

Mr N A Adams, said the council had been flouted, and that the Latter Day Saints would have to observe its rulings, otherwise affiliated associations dould not be granted permission to, plav the visiting team The council unanimously decided that the Latter Day Saints team's programmes must be withdraw, otherwise the remaining matches on the tour could not be permitted.
