“Rigged” TV In U.S.

Mrs Vivienne Nearing, who took part in the "rigged” television quiz show "Twenty One.” today received a suspended sentence after pleading guilty to charges of perjury. The 34-year-old woman lawyer admitted having falsely denied to a grand jury in September. 1958, that she had received advance information about questions in her quiz contest.
