Marching CHAMPIONSHIPS IN CANTERBURY
The Canterbury marching championships will take place on December 2, the annual meeting of the Christchurch Marching Association decided last evening. If it is wet on December 2. the championships will be held on December 9. Officers elected were:— Patron, Mr G. Manning: president. Miss D. D Moore: vicepresidents. Messrs G. Nankiveli. W. Guy; secretary. Mr S. Marshall: assistant secretary. Miss J. Fallon; treasurer, Miss R Wilkie; executive. Mr R. G. Wilkie. Mesdames D Thompson, V. Sibley. M. P. Wilkie. Misses L Thompson. M. Lowe. J. Austin, C. Harbott: auditor. Captain T. N. K. Neate; solicitor, Mr F. J. Shaw: delegates to Canterbury centre. Messrs G. Nankiveli. W. Guy.
