Post Lost On Appeal

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 8. The Public Service Commission confirmed today that the appeal by the Assistant Controller of the Wild Life Branch of the Internal Affairs Department Mr S. L. Newcombe, against the recent appointment of Mr J. D. Pascoe as Controller of the branch had been successful.

Mr Pascoe was formerly secretary of the National Historic Places Trust
