COMMERCIAL Market Variable At Start Of Trading
The market was variable when trading opened for the week on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday. AJN.Z. Bank, B.H.P. and New Zealand Newspapers showed improvement on last week’s closing rates
Newton King 10s paid. Kauri Timber, Bowling Centres contributing, L. J. Hooker, McKendrick new, Repco, Smith and Brown, United Empire Box new, and William Cable were also firmer.
Bonds, Clyde Industries, G. J. Coles shares and rights, Metters and Woolworths were easier.
