“Injured Player's” Matches The Auckland Rugby League “injured players' day” matches on Sunday were notable for one thing—the number of players injured. A crowd of 8000 who braved rain squalls and paid £744 to the injured placers’ fund saw no fewer than seven players leave the field—two on stretchers— in the two matches—(PA.)
