AUCKLAND, May 7.
The Auckland Returned Services’ Association the biggest in New Zealand, with a membership of 9698—105 t £3OBO 5s 9d on its operations in 1960-61. This is revealed in the balance sheet to be presented to the annual meeting on May 30. The chartered club in High street (which includes a bar lounge, billiards room, meeting hall, reading room and writing room) lost £4653 14s 2d on the year’s operations. The cafeteria loss was £1433 16s Id. The association’s administration costs were £2161 12s 9d.
