Annual Session In Christchurch
“Although an amount of £3 4s has been paid out in benefits for every pound received in contributions from members, our society is financially sound,” said Mr H. M. Tomlinson, secretary of the National Division Sons of Temperance Friendly Society, at the sixty second annual session in Christchurch on Saturday. The society's highest award, the past most worthy patriarch's Jewel, was awarded to Mr R. R. Kiddey of Christchurch. The Advance Division (Wellington) won the junior membership competition shield, while the senior shield was won by Excelsior Division (Addington).
