Rail Ferry Plans

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 7. Plans for access to the road and rail ferry terminals under construction at Wellington and Picton have been completed and the necessary expenditure by the Railways Department has been approved by the Cabinet • The Minister of Railways (Mr McAlpine) said yesterday that the layout of each of the ferry terminals had been agreed upon by all the parties concerned. The harbour boards were providing the necessary berthage facilities, link spans, and buildings, and the National Roads Board was undertaking road improvements needed at Wellington. ,
