MENTAL HEALTH COURSE

Fifteen doctors attended a course in mental health at the Sunnyside Hospital recently. The course was arranged by the Canterbury faculty of the College of General Practitioners, and the lecturer was Dr. P, P. E. Savage, senior medical officer at the hospital. It was the first week-end course to be arranged by the college.

Another similar course will be held in June, and the college is taking an active part with the Canterbury Mental Health Council in the preparations for mental health week, to be observed in August and September.
