Allan Douglas Allfrey, aged 23, a workman, was fined £5 for using insulting language in Cathedral square on Friday evening. He pleaded guilty. At 1145 p.m. a constable saw Allfrey run from the Godley statue and call out to a car about 50 yard* away, said Sergeant T. A. A. Marson. It was then he used the insulting language. Allfrey said he wa* celebrating the birth of his third child. REMANDED Hugh Walker Williams wes remanded until today on bail on a charge of using insulting language in Bryndwr on Friday. A man whose name was suppressed wa* remanded on bail until today on a charge of assault Ronald Allan Peter* was remanded in custody until today cn a charge ol breach of probation. Sergeant Marson said Peters had been arrested on a warrant.
