POLICE SEEK WITNESSES

The police are anxious to get in touch with any persons who may have seen an accident between a cyclist and a car at the intersection of Opawa and Ensors roads about 7.10 p.m. on Thursday evening. They are also anxious to interview any persons who saw an accident between a car and a cyclist in Harper avenue, near Helmores lane, about 6.15 p.m. last evening. Any persons who may be able to assist inquiries about an accident which occurred when a 15cwt or 30cwt flatdecked truck, painted green or blue, struck a cyclist in Yaldhurst road about 10.50 p.m. on Thursday evening are also asked to get in touch with the police. The truck failed to stop after the accident.
