Polio Death In Auckland
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 5. A middle-aged woman died in Auckland Hospital last night from poliomyelitis It was the first death of the present outbreak. Suffering from a severe form of the disease, she died within 24 hours of admission With the 28 patients now in hospital, there have been 39 cases of poliomyelitis since January 1.
