ANZAC DAY IN N.Z.
“Another Look Needed,”
(N.Z. Press Assn.— Copyright) BRISBANE, May 5. Mr Austin Reid, the leader of the New Zealand former servicemen’s delegation to the Queensland Anzac Day celebration, said on his departure today that New Zealand would "have to have another look at the way it observed its Anzac Day. “In New Zealand we carry out our mourning services all day and like Queensland have no organised sport, but we cannot turn back the clock. We will just have to have another look at the way in which we commemorate the day,” Mr Reid said.
