Inquiry Into C.I.A.
(N.Z.PA.-Reuter—Copyright) WASHINGTON. May 4. President Kennedy today ordered a special six-member board to conduct a full-scale study of the Central Intelligence Agency and all other Government foreign intelligence activities. The White House order named as chairman of the board Dr. James R. Killian, who is the chairman of the corporation of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The board would conduct an objective, independent review of United States foreign intelligence activity, and report periodically to the President, the White House said.
