Dr. D. Taylor, the Health Department’s director of health education and maternal welfare, will leave for Noumea next week to attend a conference of directors of territorial health services convened by the South Pacific Commission —(P A.) C Beaglehole (nominated by the Senate of the University of New Zealand) have been reappointed members of the National Historic Places Trust Messrs A. H. Bogle, J. te H Grace. P Te Hurunui Jones. J V Meech, and J D Pascoe and Dr G. Jobberns have been appointed members of the New Zealand Geographic Board, according to a notice in the Gazette Professor H R. Gray, dean of the faculty of law at the University of Canterbury and Mr J P. Kilbryde, senior lecturer in law, have been Invited to join the legislation committee of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce.
