Rangiora Affairs

Sir, —I was pleased to see the letter from “Sprained Ankle” about the proposed parking place by the Rangiora Town Hall. It is time we ratepayers told the council what we think. I have been inquiring and I can find few in favour of the idea, some of them young people who are not ratepayers. When we are faced with repaying a large loan for necessary sewerage extensions, .why pay £3BO for a parking place that the town dosn’t need? —Yours, etc.. RATEPAYER. May 2, 1961.
