South Brighton Women’s Club
The following are the competition winners of the South Brighton Women’s Bowling Club for the 1960-61 season:— Champion singles: Mrs M. Surridge. First-year singles: Mrs E. Harris. Champion fours: Mesdames D. McDowall, V. Ellis, E. Trist, and M. Surridge (skip). Champion pairs: Mesdames E. Trist and M. Surridge (s). Robinson Cup: Mesdames P. Anderson. M. Surridge (s). Roberts trophy: Mesdames M. Burrell, D. Cooper. M. Muir, and R. Woodward (s). The club won the inter-club competition and also the Mathison Cup. Dallington winning the Muir shield.
