Springston South Domain

Trees along the east side of the Springston Domain are to be examined by a tree surgeon. "Some of the trees are growing over the roofs of the huts and they should be trimmed up individually,” said the chairman of the Springston South Domain Board (Mr H. R. Duckworth) at a meeting yesterday. "If the job is not done carefully and scientifically the avenue could be ruined.” The board was told that a new tip trailer for taking refuse from the huts had been delivered and found satisfactory, and it decided to replace the tractor at present used for mowing and hauling with a more powerful machine later in the year.
